Blood on Click
Project Domain / Category
Web-based Application Development
Abstract / Introduction
The main purpose of this project is to extend the field of blood banks so that, in case of emergency, people can easily avail a blood facility from their nearby location. The principal reason is to grow the field of blood donation centers and blood benefactors and searchers where they all fall on one page. For this purpose, a web application will be developed where the different users (Blood Banks, Blood Donors, and Blood Seekers) can communicate with each other. Blood bank staff will use the application to check their records, monitor their progress, and monitor their stocks, to identify the nearest donors with all their previous records, and also send notifications to ask the donors or other blood banks if they are out of stock or require any particular blood group in case of an emergency. On the other hand, application will also be developed for the donors who can search for the nearest blood banks to donate blood, get notifications for donation and also review their previous records. A blood seeker can also search for donors by using this blood bank application. For blood seekers, they can find the nearest blood donors who has a blood group available in their stock which is required by the blood seeker. In this way, it will become convenient for the blood seeker to avail a blood facility without sharing their need for the blood on different social media platforms or appealing for request to different groups for the sake of help in an emergency.

The system will enable each blood bank to monitor their blood stock levels and send real-time notifications to blood banks and donors regarding stock status and urgent requirements.
The system will allow both donors and seekers to search for the nearest blood banks, and enable blood seekers to find nearby donors based on the selected blood group.
The system will allow donors and blood banks to monitor their previous records and generate reports. Additionally, seekers can find the nearest blood donors of the required blood group, with universal blood groups visually distinguished using color-coded icons.
Blood bank users will be able to edit their profiles and manage incoming requests from blood seekers and other blood banks.
The system will allow donors to view recommended blood banks, and enable seekers to access detailed information by interacting with color-coded icons representing different blood groups.
Donors can receive and maintain their medical reports following each blood donation.
Donors can search for nearby donors, connect with blood banks, and share their medical or donation results through the system.
