Abstract / Introduction:

Waste management has become a major issue in urban areas due to the lack of proper disposal methods and low awareness of recycling. Citizens often do not know how to dispose of different types of waste, while recycling companies face difficulty in reaching potential contributors.

EcoTrack is a web-based platform designed to connect households, businesses, and recycling

companies. Users can schedule waste pickups, track collection status, and learn about eco-friendly

disposal practices. Recycling companies can manage requests, provide incentives for recyclable

materials, and generate reports on collected waste. This system promotes sustainable living and helps

reduce environmental pollution.

Functional Requirements:

FR1: User registration and login (citizens, companies, admin).

FR2: Waste pickup request scheduling by users.

FR3: Real-time status tracking of collection.

FR4: Dashboard for recycling companies to manage requests.

FR5: Incentive system (reward points for recyclables).

FR6: Awareness section with recycling tips and eco-guides.

FR7: Notification system for pickup reminders and updates.

FR8: Admin panel for monitoring users, companies, and reports.
