Abstract / Introduction

The Web-Based Old Home Management System is designed to efficiently manage the operations of an elderly care home by streamlining various administrative tasks such as elderly member management, staff allocation, medical record maintenance, daily activity scheduling, and donation tracking. The system ensures that all relevant information is stored securely and can be retrieved quickly when needed.

A key feature of this system is the Family Member Portal, which allows relatives to register their elderly loved ones, monitor their daily routines, view health updates, and track activities remotely. In today’s busy lifestyle, this feature ensures that family members remain connected and informed about their elders' well-being, even if they cannot be physically present.

The system enhances efficiency by reducing manual record-keeping, ensuring proper health monitoring, and maintaining a transparent financial donation log.

The primary objective of this project is to create a structured and user-friendly solution that aids in improving the quality of care for elderly members while simplifying the administrative workload of old home staff.

Ø Medical Record Management: View, update, and store medical records of elderly members.

Ø Activity Scheduling: Plan daily routines (meals, medication, exercise, social events).

Ø Donation Management: Track donations and manage financial records.

Ø Report Generation: Generate reports for elderly health, staff performance, donations, and overall system usage.

Ø System Security: Manage authentication and authorization for different user roles.
