Abstracts/Introduction:

 

Managing financial activities and tracking client payments is a critical aspect of an insurance agent’s job. Agents often struggle with keeping records of collected and pending payments, tracking due installments, and meeting their sales targets. This project aims to develop a mobile application that enables insurance agents to efficiently track their tasks, manage client payments, receive reminders for due installments, and monitor their sales performance. The app will automate alerts, generate reports, and allow agents to send payment reminders to clients, ensuring smooth and organized financial management.

 

Functional Requirements:

 

This project will focus on developing an Android application with the following features:

1.      User Registration and Authentication:

o    The application should allow agents to register and log in securely.

2.      Client & Policy Management:

o    Maintain a database of client records, including Name, CNIC, Phone Number, Policy Number, Policy Type, Premium Amount, and Due Dates.

o    Ability to search for clients using Name, CNIC, Phone Number, or Policy Number.

3.      Task & Activity Management:

o    Agents can add and manage daily tasks, such as client meetings, policy renewals, and premium collections.

o    Tasks can be categorized by priority levels (Urgent, High, Medium, Low).

4.      Payment Collection & Deposit Tracking:

o    Maintain records of premiums collected and deposited.

o    Track pending payments and overdue installments.

o    Generate auto-reminders for deposit deadlines.

5.      Automated Alerts & Reminders:

o    Notify agents about due payments, upcoming deadlines, and pending tasks.

o    Send automated SMS/email alerts to clients for premium due dates and policy renewals.

o    Schedule reminders for policy renewals and follow-ups.

6.      Performance & Target Tracking:

o    Track monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.

o    Display current progress vs. sales target.

o    Monitor commission earnings based on successful premium collections.

7.      Scheduling & Notification System:

o    Schedule client meetings and follow-ups.

8.      Dashboard & Reports:

o    Display visual reports of financial performance and earnings.

o    Show monthly, quarterly, and yearly insights on collections and targets.

o    Export reports in Excel/PDF format.

9.      Data Backup and Restore:

 

o    Provide options for cloud-based or local data backup.

o    Allow easy data restoration in case of app reinstallation.
