This project, the "Med Connect Scheduler," proposes a comprehensive web-based solution to modernize this process.

The application is designed to streamline the entire appointment lifecycle, providing a centralized, user-friendly platform for patients to book, manage, and track their medical appointments online. It also offers doctors and clinic staff powerful tools to manage their schedules and patient interactions effectively.

By leveraging modern web development technologies, this system aims to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers.

Functional Requirements:

        User Authentication & Authorization

        Patients can register and log in to their personal accounts.

        Doctors and administrative staff can log in.

        The system distinguishes between different user roles (Patient, Doctor, Admin) with specific permissions.

        View and edit their personal profile.

        Search for doctors by name, specialty, or location.

        View detailed doctor profiles (bio, specialty, availability, ratings).

        Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments based on real-time availability.

        View a history of their past and upcoming appointments.

        Doctor / Admin Dashboard

        Manage their weekly availability and set working hours.

        View, confirm, or cancel appointment requests.
