Abstract / Introduction: The Parking Space Finder App is a mobile application designed to simplify the process of finding available parking spaces in real-time. It leverages location services and user- generated data to provide up-to-date information on parking availability, pricing, and restrictions. Users can search for parking near their destination, view real-time availability on a map, and receive directions to their chosen parking spot. The app also allows users to report available parking spaces, contributing to the community-driven data.

Functional Requirements:

1.    Users should be able to create accounts and log in securely.

2.    Users should be able to reset their passwords.

3.    The app should use device location services to determine the user's current location.

4.    Users should be able to search for parking near a specific address or location.

5.    The app should display a map showing available parking spaces.

6.    Parking spaces should be marked with indicators showing availability and pricing.

7.    Users should be able to zoom in and out of the map.

8.    Users should be able to search for parking by address, location name, or current location.

9.    Users should be able to filter parking spaces by price, availability, and parking type (e.g., street parking, garage).

10. The app should display real-time parking availability.

11. Availability data should be updated regularly.

12. Users should be able to view detailed information about each parking space, including address, pricing, hours of operation, and restrictions.

13. Users should be able to view user-generated reviews and ratings of parking spaces.

14. The app should provide turn-by-turn navigation to the selected parking space.

15. Users should be able to report available parking spaces.

16. Users should be able to report changes in parking availability or pricing.

17. Users should be able to receive notifications about nearby available parking spaces.
