Abstract / Introduction

The Online Mega Store is an e-commerce platform designed to sell a wide variety of products and include drop shipping functionality. This platform allows users to browse and purchase various items across different categories. It also enables third-party sellers and suppliers to list their products without requiring the store to manage inventory, as drop shipping methods are used to fulfill orders directly from suppliers to customers.

Functional Requirements:

Admin Panel Features:

1.       Admin Login: Secure login access for store admins to manage and control the store.

2.       Product Management: Ability for admins to add, update, and delete products, including those provided by drop shipping suppliers.

3.       Order Management: Admin can manage orders, process payments, and track order statuses (pending, completed, shipped).

4.       Drop Shipping Management: The admin can monitor orders sent directly to suppliers for fulfillment without holding physical inventory.

5.       Payment Gateway Integration: Integration with popular payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, and credit/debit card payments.

6.       Shipping Management: Integration with third-party shipping services to manage logistics and deliveries.

7.       Customer Management: Ability to view and manage customer details, transaction history, and other related information.

8.       Reporting and Analytics: Admin can generate reports on sales, products, customers, and inventory levels.

9.       Discount and Coupon Management: Admin can create and apply discounts and coupons for promotional offers.

Customer Features:

1.       User Registration and Login: Allow customers to register and log in to create personal accounts for a customized shopping experience.

2.       Product Search and Filters: Enable customers to search products by categories, prices, ratings, etc.

3.       Product Reviews and Ratings: Customers can leave reviews and ratings for products to help others make informed purchasing decisions.

4.       Shopping Cart and Checkout: Users can add products to the cart, view their selections, and proceed to checkout.

5.       Order Tracking: Customers can track the status of their orders (pending, shipped, delivered).

6.       Secure Payment Options: Customers can securely pay for orders using various payment methods such as credit cards, PayPal, and other integrated gateways.

7.       Order Confirmation & Receipt: After successful purchases, customers will receive confirmation emails with order details and receipts.

Drop Shipping Features:

1.       Supplier Integration: Drop shipping suppliers can list their products directly on the platform, managing their own inventory and fulfillment processes.

2.       Automated Order Fulfillment: When an order is placed, the system will automatically send the order details to the drop shipper for fulfillment and shipment.

3.       Inventory Syncing: Automatically sync the supplier's inventory with the store’s inventory,

ensuring products are available for sale only when in stock.

4.       Profit Margins Management: Admin can set profit margins on each product listed by the suppliers to ensure profitability.

Tools: This project can be designed using various approaches. You can adopt any one of the following approach for project development.
