Abstract/Introduction:

The VU Proctors-Diary is a web-based platform designed to streamline the scheduling, communication, attendance, payments and performance tracking of exam proctors (invigilators and Superintendents) across Virtual University examination centers. The system will help the university administration assign Superintendents and invigilators based on availability, qualifications, and location, while also providing Superintendents and invigilators access to their schedules, duty notifications, performance logs and payment details etc. The platform will enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in exam management.

Functional Requirements:

·        Superintendents and Invigilator Registration/Profile Management:

Superintendents and Invigilators can register and manage profiles with details such as employee ID, center preferences, availability, qualifications, and contact info.

·        Duty Assignment System:

Admin can assign Superintendents and invigilators to exams based on preferences and availability. The system will avoid scheduling conflicts.

·        Automated Notifications:

Superintendents and Invigilators receive automatic emails and SMS notifications about their upcoming duties and updates.

·        Attendance Tracking:

The system allows Superintendents and invigilators to mark their attendance for assigned duties. Admin can verify attendance after each exam.

·        Reports Upload by Superintendents:

Superintendents can upload their daily attendance reports and other exam-related reports through the web application. These reports will be reviewed and stored for administrative purposes.

·        Leave and Availability Management:

Superintendents and Invigilators can apply for leaves and update availability, which the system will consider during scheduling.

·        Payment System:

After attendance calculation and duty verification, the system will generate payment details and allow the finance department to process payments directly through the platform.

·        Reporting and Analytics:

The admin dashboard will display insights like duty allocation, attendance rates, and performance summaries.

Front End: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AngularJS Back End: PHP

Database: MySQL

Additional Libraries: jQuery for dynamic user interface elements
